Historical Production
Morning Star's current tenements produced at least 1.8 Million Ounces of Gold. The majority of producing mines in MCO's tenements, were worked only above the water table. The Morning Star Gold Mine is an exception, having produced gold historically ~700m below the water table to a depth of 940 metres. Diamond drilling beneath 1km has returned mineralised gold assays historically.

*** IMPORTANT UPDATE - MCO TENEMENT AREA INCREASES TENFOLD TO ~220km2. ***
Morning Star Gold's granted Exploration Licences and Mining Licences cover over 220km2 of highly prospective 'Woods Point Dyke Swarm' tenements. This has increased significantly over the last few years taking in enormous resource potential from numerous targets within easy distance to the gravity mill being constructed at Woods Point.
MCO's granted Mining Licences (ELs and MINs) cover the three major 'shear zones' running northwest from Woods Point. These zones run along the Ross Creek Line, the All Nations Line and the Tingha line of dykes and workings. Many mines exist within these Mining Licences and two ELs, some of which were mined for rich returns of Gold from shallow workings historically.
Additionally Morning Star has purchased MIN5299 known as the 'Dempsey Licence'. This current Mining Licence contains the historically rich Dempsey, Hunts and Rose of Shamrock Mines which have produced ~87,000ozs Au - some recently.
The areas shaded pink on the tenement map diagram (see PDF above) are granted Mining Licences, most adjoining the Morning Star MINs (licences) or adjacent. The granted Exploration Licences, of which there are two, are also 100% held by Morning Star Gold are depicted in orange.
Indigenous Land Use Agreements (ILUA) are executed and enforceable between MCO and the traditional owners of MCOs tenements over the entire Morning Star tenement area. They have been registered in the National Native Title Tribunal (NNTT) in perpetuity. Morning Star Gold is the first company to have made such agreements in Victoria under the NNTT ever. This strengthens MCO's tenement position greatly.
