MINES SAFETY TRAINING DAY A SUCCESS

A Mines Safety Training operation was conducted at the Morning Star mine site on 21st September 2007, involving all employees of Morning Star Gold, a mines safety team from Bendigo, volunteers of VICSES, the Department of Primary Industries - Victoria, local Police, Ambulance and Country Fire Authority representatives and members of the Woods Point community.

An elaborate ‘mock disaster scenario’ was staged with injured personnel recovered safely from within the underground workings of the Morning Star mine. The day was a fantastic success and thanks to all participants.
